My 1805 Draped Bust dime that I found this winter has finally made its way onto the White’s web site!   Pretty cool!  Here’s the link

Someone on one of the forums I frequent recommended that I send in the story of my 1805 Draped Bust Dime to White’s Electronics (the manufacturer of my White’s MXT Detector).  It seems that they use such stories sometimes on their web site and in their print publications.

Well … I submitted my story to White’s early this morning, and I already got a response back!  The advertising “executive” informed me that they would definitely use my story and pictures on their web site, with the possibility that it might be in print, as well.

In return, White’s is mailing me a gift “reward” and a $100 certificate toward free White’s equipment.

Pretty cool …   This little dime just keeps on givin’!

I got my little detectorist prodigy an extra special Christmas gift. I signed the card, “From KYshooter.” She knew what it was before she even opened the box.

Well, she’s skunked me pretty good so far. I guess I don’t stand a chance now!
